Proposal for Rule 306
Nomic Nomic hear me please! A new proposal I give to thee! 306 is an amendment of 203, in which I change every single word of 203. I did this for rules cleanup. Currently 301 takes precedence over 203, and 304 takes precedence over 301. This chain of rules is confusing, so I decided to just remove all redundant wording from 203 so there were less competing rules you had to consider. I still wanted to improve the proposal process, and I think a formalized offering to the Nomic game gods is just the improvement these proposals need. So Rule 203 no longer exists, being amended in its entirety by Rule 306 which states: `When a players submits a proposal for a new rule, the proposal must start with "NOMIC NOMIC HEAR ME PLEASE! A NEW PROPOSAL I GIVE TO THEE!" If the proposal does not start with these words then it is considered invalid and the turn passes immediately to the next player.` (Note: I understand that I wouldn't have to start a proposal with "Nomic Nomic.." until 306 actually passed, but I wanted to include it in this proposal to give an example of what this could look like. If 306 passes, then 307 would have to start with this plea, to be considered a valid proposal.)Zach committed on 9/6/2017, 7:55:38 PM
