Proposal for Rule 307

Nomic Nomic hear me please! A new proposal I give to thee!

Rule 307 is an amendment of rule 306, which I have interpreted to
attempt to add some etiquette to our proceedings.

I propose that we add some further formality to our conduct, and
continue to build on our traditions of debate in future proposals.

`When, during the course of debating a rule-change a player disagrees with another player's proposal or statement in debating the proposal, they should address the other player with the honorific 'The Right Honourable', by matter of etiquette. For example, 'if the Right Honourable Gordon Martin would consider...'

There is no penalty for disobeying this rule.`

Let me know if I've made any errors in my move. For example, I don't understand our move increment scheme :P. Is 307 the right move number for my move?

Was my proposal so bad that I managed to ruin the game? :P

The Right Honourable @happy0 I must say it lessened my interest somewhat that there was no penalty for disobeying this rule, a rule without effect doesn't advance play, I think there may be a rule against that? (or at least, I can make suggestions to amend the rule)

Suggestions very welcome :). I struggled hard to think of a penalty :P.

I like the spirit of this, of us going through language contortions when playing as a way to distinguish that we are playing a game. I'd love a different honorific than "the right honorable", since that has connections to legal trials and senate hearings and I personally want nomic to feel different than that. Perhaps something distinct, but silly, like "My kind nomic neighbor".

For the penalty, you could do this exquisite corpse style and put in some detail that isn't defined yet, so the person after has that as an inspiration for their rule. For example, "If this honorific is not given, then the speaker is given one(1) snub disk, the effect of which is covered in another rule."
