Hurrah! The Gormozilla has gone!

I bet the ugly git was scaring off customers.

Gormozilla was a particularly gormless-looking picture of Mozilla - mouth open, eyes staring impassively - complete with a tech-support headset.

According to the document history, Gormoz has been out of action for two weeks. Also in the last two weeks, Firefox has been getting many more downloads. Coincidence?

The official line is that security problems in IE are persuading users to switch. Yeah, right!
