Support manifest bootstrapping

Call manifest method to get type of method, as in https://github.com/ssbc/ssb-client/pull/52. Probably don't want to do this as a default because it adds a round-trip to the server. Maybe do it as a fallback when there is no manifest file. And/or when some CLI option is specified.
